The Spring 2014 “special edition” issue of Cedarville Magazine aimed to update alumni and prospective students on the University, in light of libelous press that had been being written over the past school year due to some restructuring inside the school. As opposed to 30,000 copies printed of past issues, this particular issue had a circulation of over 90,000, and was almost twice as long at 56 pages.
In this issue especially, the creative team worked closely with the editing team and President’s office to achieve a magazine that would be captivating both to alumni familiar with the University and high school students looking at colleges. The result also needed to match Cedarville’s branding and tone to advertise a culture that was consistent with the University’s guidelines.
