In Fall of 2013, I was brought on as graphic designer for Cedarville University, my alma mater’s magazine with a circulation of approximately 30,000. The magazine had recently changed formats and transitioned to publishing three issues a year. This issue focused on the University’s unique Pharmacy program, as well as highlighting the inauguration of a new President.
As the third issue of the magazine, certain design guidelines had already been established; however, much of the layout was fresh territory, and the creative team worked to set standards that reflected University branding, while creating a fresh look to what had become a rather template-driven magazine. The 32-page magazine was mailed to alumni and students in late fall.
